What is a camp?

A camp is an international education program aimed at students aged 13 to 17, where they can practice a foreign language in a safe and international environment through fun and supervised activities, deepening their learning. These programs typically include social, artistic, sports, and tourist activities, allowing students to continue their language experience in a secure setting, divided by age groups, with constant monitoring by teachers and camp staff.

What is included in the program price?

These programs can be considered all-inclusive, as the final price includes:

  • Language classes
  • Materials
  • Accommodation
  • Three daily meals
  • Health insurance
  • Activities inside and outside the camp
  • Full-day excursions
  • 24-hour supervision inside and outside the camp
  • Certificate of participation with academic value upon completion of the program

The only items not included in the price are:

  • Airfare
  • Personal expenses

Where do students sleep?

Depending on the type of camp, which can be:

  • Homestay: Accommodation is provided in a carefully selected host family’s home. The room may be individual or shared (with another student of the same gender and age), and the bathroom may be shared with the family or exclusively for the student, depending on the host home’s facilities. Students will receive their meals at home, taking their lunch with them each day.
  • Residence: Students study, participate in activities, and sleep within a university campus or student residence, where supervision is provided 24 hours a day.

Regardless of the type, both aim to provide students with an international immersion experience where they feel safe and supported when leaving the centers for their activities.

What types of camps exist? Summer

These camps take place during summer vacation and can last from 2 to 8 weeks.

Easter

This type of camp operates only during the Easter holiday period, lasting two weeks, and has the same characteristics as the summer camp.

Winter

This camp operates solely during the winter season. In addition to language lessons and excursions, students will have the opportunity to participate in mountain activities during their program, such as skiing, snowboarding, hiking, and other winter-related activities. It typically runs during the Christmas holidays, so it is recommended to check the operating dates to ensure they align with students’ vacation schedules.
